India vs England 1st ODI: India won by 3 wickets with 11 balls remaining

1.In Cricket, Team India pulled off an incredible three-wicket win over England in the first One Day International of the 3-match series at Pune last night.

2.Put in to bat, England had posted a mammoth 350 for 7, their highest ODI score against India, courtesy half centuries by Joe Root, Jason Roy and Ben Stokes. Root top scored with 78, with the visitors scoring 115 runs in the last 10 overs.

3.In reply, India got off to a poor start as they lost 4 wickets at the score of just 63. But, a 200-run fifth wicket stand between Skipper Virat Kohli and Kedar Jadhav – which came of just 147 balls – helped the hosts bounce back brilliantly putting them on course to a superb win
